Moose Antler Display (2024) ~ Yellow Birch & Paper Birch

I took on the blind challenge of a custom moose antler display. I didn’t really have anything to go off of in terms of pre-existing designs, but I found this to be a great opportunity to learn and challenge myself as a woodworker. I learned about the workings of epoxy resin, scribing, fitting, carving, and working with tree branches in this manner. I’m very pleased with how this project came out. Seeing it go from a drawing on paper to the real thing was incredibly satisfying.

Custom AWTY Apple Box & Others (2024) ~ Poplar

I wanted to combine my love of filmmaking and woodworking and start making apple boxes for film sets, but with my personal spin on them. I’m continuing to refine the design, but I find making these to be very enjoyable.

Hall Entry Table (2018) ~ Red Oak

This table is my favorite piece of furniture that I’ve made so far. It was inspired by a design that I found in a catalog, but I made it my own and changed some details around. The sleek and clean design is what I love most. I find this table to represent my passion, attention to detail, and patience that I bring to woodworking.

Gun Cabinet (2016) ~ Red Oak

Making this gun cabinet was exciting but challenging to make. I loved seeing this cabinet slowly come together. It’s important to me that I take my time and make sure every shape and curve of this cabinet is how I wanted it- creating the lower skirt and trim, getting an equal amount of space all the way around on the doors, and so on.

This folding camp seat was the first proper woodworking piece that I made. Simple yet challenging. I learned a lot about strength and mechanics while piecing it together. I value this project because it is what taught me the basics of woodworking.
